Nothing fancy: it’s been one year since my last confession, I mean, since I began this podcast.
I review the reasons for the existence of bored beyond belief.
So much has happened (kind of).
Leaving LA.
The “road trip” to the Midwest.
My reasons for keeping things more anonymous.
Meeting Sir Zilla and plans to go on vacation.
Updates on the Death Watch 2008 list – Jill continues to rack up points – Estelle Getty died
.
Mothra music!
Love me.

Susan,
Don’t worry about the earlier one. I think those are boring.
No, I made the mistakes when calculating my balance; I was trying to balance the account and found that I had made a mistake in my savings book! D’oh! If only I had that extra $700!!
Yeah, I think the vacation will go well. I’m actually going to do some work so David can go off and gamble like a fiend! Ha, ha!
Thanks for linking to the podcast.
Love, Joe

HEEEEEYYYYYY,
One whole year? It seems like yesterday.
I thought your last name is “G!”
And you didn’t play the “godzilla music.” I like that song.

Hey, paul,
Thanks for the good wishes. Peterson likes to write my last name as “Gee”.
BTW, the opening and ending music is from Godzilla and then I added the ending of the Creatures song, “Godzilla”. So it was “Godzilla music”.
August 4, 2008 at 3:05 pm
Yeah, I like “Gee” as well, just seems to fit. I thought I would break the annoying habit of addressing you as Oh gee, JoeG, though.
See, we must be thinking of different Godzilla music. There’s this car commercial on t.v. right now that’s using a more modern version and I gotta admit I find it kinda catchy.

Hi Joe!!
I thought the Estelle videos were sweet too, but also cringe worthy, in that OMGhighschoolICan’tBelieveIdidThat way.
They were cute. Put me in a high school with those boys, and we probably would’ve went to prom together.

Argh, I thought Dolores Hope was already dead. She has to be like 200 years old by now. Ah, life.
August 5, 2008 at 11:26 am
paul,
What Godzilla music are you referring to in a TV ad? Do you know which one it is? Also, the music I chose is the song of adoration to Mothra, who I am now a devotee of…
MelissaD,
Dolores Hope will probably die after I take her off of my death watch list. Happens nearly every time!
August 5, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Wow, one year went by so fast. All that whining and you have barely aged. Well done.
Thanks for all the wonderful podcasts. I hope someone on your deathwatch list does die. If not, we will have to stone you to death for being a false prophet. Just saying.
August 5, 2008 at 4:11 pm
Here ya go Joe.
August 5, 2008 at 4:14 pm
Peterson,
LOL. Course, Joe could now put himself on that deathwatch list, and if we stone him he will be proved a prophet. blink blink
August 5, 2008 at 10:38 pm
Peterson,
I wish no one harm, even those on my death watch list. At least I learned something from the Quakers.
I’m glad that you and all the voices inside you like the podcasts!
paul,
Good point! :O

Hey, Paul,
Your message didn’t originally come through (it got caught in the spam queue.
I know this song through Zillafag – it combines two of his favorite things – Godzilla and Blue Oyster Cult.
Thanks for the link!

oh good, I’m glad you got it. I was afraid it got lost in cyberspace.

Happy podcast anniversary, Joe. Can’t believe it’s been a year already… all of it great though! Your trip to Vegas and LA should be fun. Looking forward to the next time.

Hey, Judy,
Can you believe it? It’ll be one year as of August 15th. Wow! I’ll probably do some recording while in LV and LA, too. Thanks for stopping by!
