Really? Seriously? Did you really push him out on the street? I have to admit it was a rather well told story. Don’t know the particulars though. I’m sure you’ll love being 50. Just think, if we had a set 12 number system, you wouldn’t hardly think anything of your age at all! Happy to know your surgery went well…

  2. Joe G. Says:

Truth in advertising – no, the end of the story was completely fabricated. But, I like telling stories with a bit of a twist.

You’re so right – if we were on a 12 number system or even a 17 number system I wouldn’t even notice reaching 50. I hadn’t thought of that! :) Now I want us to be on a 12 number count system instead…

Thanks for listening and stopping by. Really.

Now, I need to prep myself to watch the Michael Jackson Funeral/Spectacular, which will be broadcast live (as opposed to dead) in just under 2 hours.

  3. [...] would have mentioned Joe G’s Bored Beyond the Belief (check out his latest podcast–Michael and Me at 50) but I only find it beneficial for killing 11 minutes or so when I am waiting for my jeans to dry. [...]

How weird that you mentioned your former boyfriend Zilla in this podcast, because I was listening to it with my current boyfriend (we just had our one year anniversary and are very happy together). I wanted to introduce him to your podcast. He fell asleep, but really liked what he heard.

So glad you are in the lead with the death watch. You are a winner. You are a winner.

Now, you know I really love you. Hey, I linked to you. Isn’t that real love?

  5. Joe G. Says:

I noticed that you linked to me. You think I should now reward you in some way for this? (If it weren’t for you or Teresa no one would link to me)

Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary. I’m glad that the beau heard the podcast. Are you sure he fell asleep because of the podcast (which is utterly sensible, in my mind) or because you kept talking through the entire thing?

BTW, I’ve just been too busy to follow the non-stop news about the King of Pop so I’ve been remiss in following the non-stop news about you, the Queen of the Quakers. You understand.

Hi joe ..great podcast and of of enjoyed the music Glad too see your feeling better and all went well ..That was nice of your ex to take you !! I laughed my butt off too him being drunk and you telling that story ..farrah died a couple of hours earlier than mj ..then we never heard about Farrah again .I cried , I watched the funeral ..I saw him in concert in buffalo years ago wuth liz , and dee ..He was a lost sole who was accussed of things he didnt do ..one boy came forward and admitted he lied ..love you susan

  7. Joe G. Says:

Thanks Susan! I didn’t know you had seen MJ in concert. I’m told he was incredible in concert.

I agree, too – he was a lost soul indeed. I always believed that he was a pedophile although I’ve read a lot of articles recently that brings into question many of those who accused him of things. OTH, that doesn’t mean he didn’t have some curious and troubling ideas about kids.

    love you, too.

  8. susan segelin Says:

i have too disagree with you joe ..i do not believe he was a pedophile ..I never believed it ..Recently on boy now a young man came forward and said mj never did it , his parents told him too say that …love susan

  9. Joe G. Says:

No, I understand, Susan. I meant that I now have serious doubts about any of the charges of sexual abuse against him given what I have recently read about what occurred during the first claim of abuse and the testimony that occurred during his 2004 trial. The vast majority of the young men supposedly abused by MJ later flatly denied that he had ever been inappropriate with him; and the 2 who continued to claim something happened did so under very suspicious circumstances. So, yeah, I understand better now.

  10. susan segelin Says:

i was watching cnn last night ..he was taking 40 xanaxs a night his veins collapsed ..I never knew he was drug addict ..5 doctors are under investigation ..they are saying criminal charges may be filed ..the whole family is staying out of the spotlight ..and the father is giving interveiws in a sence he is still being abused my his father ..sickening!!

  11. zillacast Says:

The story was all true…where am I now?

  12. Joe G. Says:

What do you know, Zillacast, you were drunk that night!

    :)
